FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Kurt Okraku on his re-election as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Mr. Okraku secured an impressive 97.5% of the votes during the elective congress held in Tamale, securing his position as the head of the country’s football governing body.
In a statement from FIFA, President Infantino conveyed his warm greetings and sincere congratulations to Mr. Okraku, acknowledging the significance of his re-election. He also expressed his gratitude for Okraku’s invaluable contributions to the development of football in Ghana.
The statement from the FIFA boss read, “Dear President, Please accept my warmest greetings and sincerest congratulations for your recent re-election as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).”
Infantino continued, “I would be grateful if you could please convey my felicitations to the Members of the Executive Council elected with you, while I seize the opportunity to thank you for all your efforts, your work, and your important contribution to the development of our sport and the promotion of its values in Ghana.”
President Infantino concluded by sending his best wishes to Kurt Okraku and his team for their new mandate and the challenges that lie ahead. He expressed his anticipation of continued collaboration with President Okraku for the growth and prosperity of football in Ghana in the years to come.
With his re-election, Kurt Okraku will continue to lead the Ghana Football Association for another four years, aiming to further advance the development and success of football in the country.
